Program Philosophy & Mission Statement
We believe that quality early childcare and education is a partnership between parents and providers. At A Family’s Touch Daycare, LLC, it is our mission to partner with parents and provide all children in care with age appropriate and developmentally appropriate activities and materials in a safe, loving environment where they are free to explore and learn. The program is designed to be inclusive of all children, including those with identified disabilities and special learning and developmental needs. We include both planned and spontaneous activities in response to children’s interests. We provide experiences with music, movement, art, language and building are incorporated into our daily plans.
A Family’s Touch Daycare, LLC plans to promote the physical, intellectual and emotional growth of our children by encouraging them to develop a positive self-image, to learn inner controls and to cooperate with peers and caregivers. Clearly defined limits help them recognize and accept their emotions and express their feelings as they grow and feel secure in the world around them. We make sure to create an environment where caring friendships can be formed and each child’s potential can be realized.
About Us
A Family’s Touch Daycare, LLC is licensed and complies with all applicable licensing regulations and standards. These standards relate to our home, staff, health, safety procedures, nutrition, care giver to child ratios, and record keeping. We believe that these standards are in the best interest of the children. Our home is subject to inspection by New York State health, fire, and licensing officials.
A Family’s Touch Daycare, LLC has an open door policy for all parents. This means you can stop by during business hours unannounced. Of course, for safety purposes, the doors will be locked. Entry into the program will be the same as normal drop off and pickup procedures.Â
Parents are also welcomed to call and check up on their child at any time. Please leave a message if we do not answer, and we will return your call in a timely manner. Please understand that your call is important to us but the safety of our program children must come first. Â
​When making the decision to stop by, please remember that younger children have a difficult time when parents come to visit and then leave without taking the child with them.Â
